In 1890 a small group of young women created the Sunbeam Circle with a of mission of making bed-bound children at a local hospital more comfortable. Over the years their vision has grown and evolved into what is today Vocational Guidance Services, a not-for-profit organization that helps thousands of people with barriers to employment create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Today, VGS’ Sunbeam Board continues the legacy of the Sunbeam Circle by raising awareness of Vocational Guidance Services and providing financial support through fundraising events and activities.
