Building Maintenance Skills Provides 12 weeks of training in proper building maintenance methods to prepare consumers for entry-level building maintenance positions. Routine day-to-day maintenance responsibilities are covered as well as emergency maintenance, protective maintenance, and safety procedures with chemicals, tools, and other equipment. Plumbing, electricity, heating, air conditioning, painting, drywall, basic carpentry and troubleshooting are covered and the program length can be adjusted to fit individual needs, skills, and experience.

Computer Skills Training offers individualized computer instruction designed to enhance employability in an office setting. The variable program length allows students to choose which applications to pursue for certification as well as additional areas of focus within which they wish to develop greater skill. Students choosing a four-week program will focus on a single Microsoft Office product (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or Outlook), while those enrolling in the eight- to twelve-week program are able to pursue MOS certification in two or more Microsoft Office products.
Training includes both self-paced and instructor-led periods and enables participants to build skills in the applications chosen in preparation for MOS certification testing at the CORE level.
