In 1890 a small group of
girls set out to help make bed bound children at a local
hospital more comfortable. Over the years their
vision extended to the development of Vocational
Guidance Services, a not profit organization that helps
thousands of people with barriers to employment on to a
brighter future.
Today's Sunbeam Board members continue the legacy began so many years ago by raising awareness of Vocational Guidance Services and providing financial
support through fundraising events and activities with the ultimate goal of assisting
individuals with challenges to attain
self-reliance.
