Job Coaches are responsible for providing training in the custodial field for MR/DD clients. They will develop appropriate job keeping behaviors, task analysis, development of skills to complete specific job tasks, development of natural supports and the identification and implementation of reasonable accommodations at the job site.  Assist the program supervisor in the development of an individualized success plan.  Responsible for implementing the success plans to aid participants in achieving measurable objectives.   Implement appropriate positive behavior interventions and support techniques to enhance the client’s success.     

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and six months to one year related experience working with the MR/DD population or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have ability to work independently.  Customer service skills, ability to multi-task and excellent verbal and oral communication skills are a plus.   Must submit to a background check and drug test.
