The Transitional Jobs Program funded through Cuyahoga County Employment & Family Services provides TANF recipients with multiple barriers, including disability and previous incarceration, with up to six months of subsidized employment designed to provide the participants with a supported path to unsubsidized employment.  The program provides comprehensive, paid work experience along with training opportunities and necessary supports, placement and retention services.  The paid work experiences are based on the participant’s vocational skills, experience, aptitude and choice and are geared at building the participant’s work experience, a current reference and enhance their life skills to position the participant for the best possibility of success.
